BCR and Erste Group are financing Eurowind Energy for the construction of the 48 MW wind farm in Pecineaga

Eurowind Energy, a key player in the European renewable energy market and a developer and operator of wind, solar, and hybrid projects, has signed a €65.33 million credit facility for the construction of the Pecineaga wind farm, with a total capacity of 48 MW. Banca Comercială Română SA (BCR) and Erste Group Bank AG (Erste Group) have financed the investment loan in equal proportions, each contributing €32.66 million. The loan matures at the end of 2040 and covers 70% of the total development costs of the Pecineaga wind farm.

In addition, the two banks are providing a more comprehensive package worth €18 million, which includes VAT financing for investments and other products dedicated to supporting the Pecineaga project.
